Most of our fleece are made using recycled polyester. This fabric is making waves as it turns pre-existing plastics such as that water bottle you used at a festival a lifetime ago into your new Weird Fish favourite. Using more recycled polyester rather than traditional polyester, reduces landfill, which means less soil contamination, air and water pollution.
We also use Lenzing EcoVero™. This fabric gets a big check on the sustainability spectrum, as it is derived from renewable wood pulp using eco-responsible production. In comparison to conventional viscose production, Lenzing EcoVero™ results in 50% fewer emissions and takes half as much energy and water. What’s not to love?
